18-year-old drug dealer detained in Vitebsk

Vitebsk region drug enforcement officers, with the forceful support of riot police, detained an 18-year-old resident of Lepel in the regional center, the press service of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate reports.

A college student "worked" for about a month for an online drug store. In Vitebsk, he rented an apartment where he packaged the "product" that he then planned to distribute through caches throughout the city.

About 400 grams of the particularly dangerous psychotropic substance "4-SMS" were found and confiscated from him.

Investigators have opened a criminal case for illegal drug trafficking for the purpose of sale. The defendant faces up to 15 years in prison.
