A master class by artists of the Honored Collective of the Republic of Belarus of the Presidential Orchestra was held as part of the "Marathon of Unity" at the Vitebsk State College of Music named after I. Sollertinsky.

There were more people who wanted to listen to the musicians' play and hear their professional advice than the assembly hall could accommodate. Laureate of international competitions, winner of the Grand Prize and the title of laureate of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the Support of Talented Youth, pianist Alexander Danilov, laureate of international competitions, scholarship holder of the Presidential Foundation, cellist Maria Makhvits, winner of the Francysk Skaryna Medal, guitarist Sergei Kuntsevich and others performed for students and teachers.

Those who came to the meeting warmly supported their talented performer - third-year student Nikita Vershelovsky, who took the stage together with the orchestra artists, who became a laureate of prestigious competitions. He also heard words of praise from the virtuoso pianist Alexander Danilov.

By the way, the Presidential Orchestra includes a graduate of the Vitebsk College of Music - drummer Yuri Shablovsky. Perhaps in the future the team will be replenished with other pupils from the city on the Dvina.

"We are happy that within the framework of the "Marathon of Unity" we have the opportunity to visit different parts of Belarus. In Vitebsk, we give two master classes, and also perform at one of the city's enterprises. Music truly unites people," said conductor Oleg Chekhovsky.
