A solemn rally dedicated to the Day of the Border Guard was held in Polotsk
In Polotsk, near the memorial sign "To Border Guards of All Generations", in the park named after the 50th anniversary of Soviet power, a rally dedicated to the Day of the Border Guard was held
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Polotsk District Executive Committee Igor Markovich, the Chairman of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee Igor Burmistrov, the leadership, personnel of the Polotsk border detachment, and the clergy.
Warm congratulations were heard here, awards were presented to border guards for success in the performance of official duties.
"I wish you good health, courage, endurance, success and inexhaustible energy in serving for the benefit of our country," said Igor Ivanovich.
The memory of the heroes-border guards was honored with a minute of silence. And then flowers were laid at the foot of the memorial sign.
