Creative teams from five countries are waiting for the festival "Dnipro Galasy in Dubroune"

The XXX International Festival of Song and Music "Dnipro Galasy in Dubroune" will be held from 21 to 23 June.

The festival will bring together creative teams from five countries: Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Latvia and the Republic of Korea. The latter will be presented by the Republican Center of National Cultures of Minsk. Russian artists will arrive from the Smolensk, Pskov regions and the Republic of Tatarstan. "This year we expect 23 groups, which is about 300 people," the head of the culture sector explained.

The program is designed for three days, the first of which will be filled with a youth holiday, performances by local groups and ensembles, young finalists of the regional vocal competition "Nightingale Notes". Acquaintance with the guests is scheduled for June 22, on the same day the official opening of the anniversary festival will take place. A new project for him will be "Wreath of Friendship". According to the idea, each team will weave its own tape into it with the name of the city from which they came. And on Sunday, at the closing gala concert, the finished wreath will be solemnly launched along the Dnieper River.

"All groups and guests of the festival will take part in the implementation of this project. An integral part of the wreath will be the branches of an oak tree - a symbol of our city with a great historical past. Since ancient times, it has been believed that when making a wreath, a person weaves his fate, so his thoughts should be kind, pure and beautiful. I am sure that our wreath of friendship will not only turn out to be beautiful, but will also be the embodiment of strong, friendly and peace-loving energy," Elena Yakovenko said.

Since the festival is held in the year of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, a series of projects is dedicated to patriotic themes. A rally, a local history conference about the feat that will live for centuries, a performance based on the play by I. Grekova "Widow's Steamer" staged by the district center of culture, a dialogue platform with the participation of artists of the Youth Variety Theater in the children's art school and a concert of the finalists of the regional competition of young performers "Songs of the youth of our fathers". Every year at the festival, a solemn rally-requiem is held at the Rylenki memorial complex. This time, the people's action "With a song - to Victory" will also take place here. Those present in unison will sing "Let us bow to those great years." An action will also be held at the memorial to mark the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People.

Plein air of artists, fair of masters, theatrical venues, exhibition-presentation, competitions and all kinds of concerts as a gift to the city - "Dnipro Galasy in Dubron" promise to be exceptional.

The third day of the forum will open with a motor rally with the participation of a motorcycle club from Orsha. About three dozen motorcycles, and probably more, will later accompany the participants to the memorial sign and lead the theatrical procession. The column will proceed to the city stadium, where at the gala concert, two-wheeled vehicles will make a circle of honor with the flags of the five participating countries. The award ceremony for the winners of the competitions will also take place here. The anniversary festival will end loudly - the sky over Dubrovno will be painted with festive fireworks.
