Public organizations and parties must become a force capable of ensuring stability in society.  This was stated by the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, member of the Supreme Political Council of the Belaya Rus party, head of the regional branch of the public organization of the same name Dmitry Demidov at a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Coordination Council of Public Associations and Political Parties.

In his opinion, the main task of activists today is to promote unity and harmony in society and work with young people. The state, despite the sanctions, ensures stable operation of the economy. This year alone, the regional budget was additionally replenished with 300 million rubles, which were mainly spent on social needs. The regional budget for 2025 has already been formed and will be submitted for discussion to the regional council deputies at a session in the coming days. According to preliminary data, it is 5 percent higher than the 2024 budget and is estimated at 5.2 billion rubles. The social focus of the budget will be preserved, Dmitry Demidov emphasized.
