First deputy chief of General Staff of Belarus' Armed Forces appointed

Major-General Andrei Matiyevich has been appointed First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of Belarus' Armed Forces. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed relevant decree No.212 on 18 July, BelTA has learned.

The same document relieved Major-General Andrei Matiyevich of his post as Chief of the Territorial Defense Office, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of Belarus' Armed Forces.
