In Polotsk, deputies of the regional, district Councils, the House of Representatives held a Day of Work with the Population

In solving the issues of the population, the interaction of deputies of all levels is important. One of the effective forms is to hold a Day of Work with the Population in the microdistricts of our city.

Such a format of work allows deputies of the regional, district Councils, the House of Representatives to solve issues that concern local residents. The next event was held on the territory of the Borovukha microdistrict.

Prior to the meeting, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Svetlana Odintsova monitored the work of individual institutions (Dobronom store, pharmacy No252 of the Vitebsk UE "Pharmacy", general practitioner's department No4 of the Borovukha medical outpatient clinic), and also paid attention to the territory of the neighborhood and the solution of issues addressed by local residents. Among the main ones are road repairs, landscaping, garbage collection, sanitary condition of container sites, maintenance and cleaning of bus stops.

The issues of the life of the microdistrict were discussed in more detail during the extended meeting, which was also attended by the head of the deputy corps of the Polotsk district Joseph Gribovich, deputies of the regional and district Councils of Deputies (O.N. Zakharenko, V.V. Ryabchenko, V.A. Chernevich, P.V. Borovik), specialists of the Polotsk District Executive Committee, the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Housing and Public Utilities of Polotsk", the Polotsk District Department of Internal Affairs and other services.

Iosif Gribovich drew attention to the peculiarities of the formation of the local budget, which still retains a social orientation, and the main items of its expenditure. Topical issues and prospects for the development of the city were not ignored.

"In the first half of this year, we were actively preparing for holding events of the Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia in our city, so the main attention was paid to the central part of the city. Now active work is being carried out in microdistricts, according to plans and allocated funding. Of course, it is not possible to quickly resolve all problematic issues. The participation of local residents is also important in the restoration of order and improvement of urban areas," Joseph Frantsevich outlined.

Residents of the microdistrict, in turn, raised problematic issues that have been worrying them for a long time: repair of roads, housing stock; lighting of approaches to trade facilities; removal of emergency trees; heating; cleaning of entrances, courtyard areas, bus stops; garbage collection; arrangement of parking lots. The low performance of the 115 service is criticized - it is not uncommon for emergencies to be eliminated not promptly.

They were interested in the issues of compliance with the schedule of public transport, staffing of the medical outpatient clinic and the work of the physical laboratory. Clarifications were immediately given to individual requests, and deadlines were announced. The problems requiring dditional study have been taken under control by the concerned services. The management and specialists of the Polotsk Bus Park No. 2 branch, DRSU No. 182 took an active part in the discussion, GUZ "Polotsk TSGB".

The day of work with the population of the Borovukha microdistrict turned out to be interested, thorough, relevant. At the end of the meeting, Svetlana Odintsova thanked the residents for their active citizenship, caring attitude to the further development of the microdistrict, and cooperation with the deputy corps.

"It is very important to tell people about innovations in legislation, explain certain regulatory documents, acquaint them with the prospects for the development of urban and regional territories, and help them navigate in various life situations. And this is the special role of deputies," summed up the chairman of the district council Joseph Gribovich.

Alexander Potapov, Deputy Director of the Housing and Communal Services of Polotsk, informed about the work carried out in the microdistrict and promising tasks related to landscaping and restoring order on the land in the microdistrict. In 2024, the overhaul of the residential building o. 359 on Vologda Street was completed, the current repair of engineering networks, roofs on four houses, access canopies , etc. Continuous asphalting of driveways in the area of houses has been completed №№ 286, 310, 315, 354, 371
