More than 10.5 thousand residents of the Vitebsk region took part in the action "Give the forest a new life!"

On November 12, the large-scale republican public action "Give the forest a new life!" ended, which covered all regions of our country and was timed to coincide with the Year of Quality. The campaign was held for a month.

In total, 170 facilities were involved in the Vitebsk region, where 490 hectares of forest crops were created, additions were made on an area of more than 1400 hectares.

The amount of planting material amounted to more than 4.5 million pieces, mainly European spruce and pine. 14 alleys have been laid out as part of the campaign.

In total, more than 10,500 people joined the action in the Vitebsk region.

It is safe to say that the number of participants in such actions, held on the initiative of the Ministry of Forestry, is growing from year to year.
