Photo fact: Vitebsk hosted the regional stage of the republican legal tournament "Power of Law"

About 70 schoolchildren were united by the regional stage of the republican legal tournament "Power of Law" in the Vitebsk branch of the International University "MITSO".

This year, students had to answer questions in the form of testing on the topic "The President is the guarantor of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, human rights and freedoms".

According to the results of the tournament, the winners among 9 classes:

1st place – Anna Popkova (Polotsk State Gymnasium No 2)

2nd place – Arina Budkevich (Tolochin Secondary School No 1 named after F. Makovetsky)

3rd place – Matvey Lyutko (Orekhovskaya Secondary School named after N. Kostyuchenko, Ushachi district)

Winners among 10 classes:

1st place – Arina Afanasenko (Vitebsk Gymnasium No 2)

2nd place – Sofia Lapko (Polotsk State Gymnasium No 2)

3rd place – Ksenia Kazakova (Gymnasium No 5 of Vitebsk named after I. Lyudnikov)

 Winners among 11 classes:

1st place – Alexandra Eliseenko (Secondary School No 1, Dokshitsy)

2nd place – Yegor Baranovsky (Gymnasium No1 of Vitebsk named after Zh. Alferov)

3rd place – Anastasia Ivantsova (Secondary School No 21, Orsha)

The information and educational project for high school students is aimed at increasing interest in legislation among young people. The tournament has been held since 2021 in the form of testing and brings together the best students of general secondary institutions. Last year, about 4 thousand children from the Vitebsk region took part in it.

The organizers were the regional center of legal information and the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.
