Power engineers of Polotsk power grids continue to eliminate the consequences of bad weather

In the Polotsk region, the elimination of the consequences of bad weather continues.

Work to restore power supply in 110 settlements is underway on the territory of the Polotsk, Ushachi and Verkhnedvinsk districts. As of 10:00 a.m., 46 emergency recovery teams numbering 162 people, 74 units of special equipment are involved, diesel generators are prepared and ready for use if necessary.

Technological disturbances in the power grid complex occurred due to hurricane winds, which caused a massive fall of trees on power lines. Currently, the staff is carrying out operational switching, detours, work to remove trees that have fallen on power lines, replace broken wires and broken poles, consumers are powered by backup power supply schemes. At the same time, damage is being repaired at the request of residents in the 0.4 kV network.

RUE "Vitebskenergo" is taking all necessary actions to restore power supply to consumers as soon as possible.
