Young families of the northern region gathered at the regional forum in Vitebsk.
"It is important to preserve the family structure inherent in Belarusians, so that marriage is a union between a man and a woman, based on love, mutual respect, the best human qualities that should be passed on to children," said Dmitry Demidov, chairman of the regional Council of Deputies, chairman of the regional organization of the NGO "Belaya Rus". – For the third time, we are summing up the results of the contest "Family in the Lens", organized by public associations and the Vitebsk Diocese. Those traditions that should be in the family and aimed at strengthening spirituality and morality are consonant with the ideas and values of the Belarusian Orthodox Church. It is important that young people actively participate in such projects.
As part of the Week of Parental Love, the regional youth competition-marathon "Family in the Lens" was launched. Each week, the participants performed various tasks dedicated to a specific topic. The final chord was the regional forum of families, which was held in the Vitebsk diocese. In the open dialogue "Talking about Important Things: A Happy Family – a Strong State", the participants asked questions to the speakers, talked about how they see a modern young family, and also voiced their ideas and initiatives. Thus, one of the questions from the Rochev family from Vitebsk concerned the possibility of a youth center for the whole family in the Bilevo microdistrict.
According to the results of the competition-marathon "Family in the Lens", the winner was the Koretsky family from Lepel.
"We participated in the competition for the first time. The project itself is interesting, children have a lot of emotions, and this marathon must continue. We tried to approach the videos with humor, and our children really liked this format," the Koretsky family shared.
The winners were also determined in the marathon nominations:
"Breakfast for Mom" – the Shchurevich family from Novopolotsk.
"Family in trend" - the Ivanov family from Vitebsk.
"Family for Good" – the Bryukhanchik family from Braslav.
