Svetlana Vasilieva: the success story of a Vitebsk blogger and founder of an online school of creative professions
Vitebsk blogger Svetlana Vasilyeva, known under the pseudonym Koshka, actively develops the international online school of creative professions. Thanks to Svetlana, people learn to live with taste, create an atmosphere of comfort around themselves and master new facets of decorative and applied art.
The path to opening an online school was long. Since the young years Svetlana was distinguished by originality, actively participated in school life, attended various circles, tried in different kinds of creativity. Especially the girl was interested in expressing herself through makeup, hairstyles and stylish clothes. Already then Svetlana inspired other girls, shared with them experience and helped to create interesting images, and in the eleventh grade she graduated from the courses of viclasts.
– Relatives found my hobbies not serious and advised to choose a more solid profession for life. Therefore, after the school I went to the law faculty, – tells the interlocutor. – I subdued higher education, humbled with thoughts about the future office career and for a long time banned even to think about any creativity.
A few years later, Svetlana married, became a mother, and the creative beginning in her soul again began to break into freedom. She wanted not just to have a creative hobby, but to master a favorite thing at a professional level. And here the certified lawyer went to the courses of hairdressers. After them Svetlana with his head plunged into the work of the stylist and was happy, but after five years decided to join the commercial family business, again on the advice of relatives.
– The first time I was interested in developing together with my mother a network of trading facilities. Soon the reins of government passed into my hands, and in such a furious rhythm I ceased to be comfortable, – shared Svetlana. – About ten years ago I decided to leave the family business and go again to search for myself.
Then the heroine was completely absorbed by blogging and active social life. Visiting various events, Svetlana almost daily surprised how much around interesting and how much you want to try. Having mastered various applied methods and filled the space around himself with original author's things, blogger Koshka felt that he was ready to share knowledge with others.
– Fortunately, I have a lot of like-minded people. Communicating with me, people are trained to make interesting and useful things with their own hands: candles, natural cosmetics, epoxy resin crafts and even comprehend the basics of home cheese making, – smiles interlocutor. – Last year my project acquired the status of online school.
Every person in this art project chooses for himself certain courses, and then enters the taste and continues training in other applied directions. As a result, the pupil becomes a craftsman of a broad profile. In this regard, Svetlana actively discusses future cooperation with the committee on labor, employment and social protection of the regional executive committee, so that the online school has an opportunity to help the state to improve the professional level of self-employed creators and give them motivation for successful promotion.
– To do it as competently and carefully as possible, I received coach and producer certificates of online school, – tells Svetlana. – People who worked with me have come up with the slogan «Koshka covers», which is my pride. I like to inspire people to change their lives for the better.
Every person Svetlana advises to become a blacksmith of his happiness, not to dwell for a long time on negative experience, but to move forward. In her opinion, happiness consists of trifles: sometimes a beautifully served breakfast or a home self-care session can create a mood for the whole day.
– Life offers everyone a lot of interesting and pleasant opportunities, and it is very important not to miss them, – is confused by blogger Koshka. – You can create a holiday every day for yourself and your loved ones, smile at the world, and he will certainly reciprocate.
