The 66th anniversary of the city was celebrated in Novopolotsk
A festive concert dedicated to the 66th anniversary of Novopolotsk was held vividly and on a truly large scale, this was reported in the telegram channel "NOVAYA.BY-Novopolotsk today".
The Gomel Yuri Vasilevsky Pop Symphony Orchestra performed world rock hits on the main square of the city. Each number was accompanied by ovations and stormy applause from the audience.
To the sounds of the orchestra, the Novopolotsk residents performed well-known and beloved hits in chorus.
Igor Burmistrov, Chairman of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee, congratulated the citizens on the holiday. As a sign of gratitude, the mayor handed the orchestra a basket of flowers.
The culmination of the celebration was a laser show that enveloped the square with illuminated rays and alternating pictures with the history of beloved Novopolotsk.
