The best counselor of the region was determined in Vitebsk

The Vitebsk Regional Palace of Children and Youth hosted the regional stage of the competition of pedagogical excellence "The Best Educator of the Health Camp". Experienced and creative counselors fought for the palm.

The first place was taken by Nikita Yadrevsky, a counselor of the Chaika camp of the Polotsk District Center for Children and Youth, he will represent the Vitebsk region at the republican stage of the competition in the National Children's Educational and Health Center "Zubrenok". The teacher of the camp "Friendly Guys" of the Vitebsk Regional Palace of Children and Youth Yulia Kot became the second. Igor Rombalsky defended the honor of the health camp "Rodnichok" of the Center for Children and Youth of the Glubokoe district in a creative competition and won the "bronze".

The educator of the health camp "Borovka" of the Lepel District Executive Committee Alesya Papko and the teacher of the children's health camp "Luch" of the Center for Children and Youth of the Vitebsk District Olga Syrevich were awarded commemorative Diplomas of the participants of the competition.

"The leadership of the region pays special attention to the health campaign. This year, about 44 thousand children are involved in it in the Vitebsk region," said Olga Dorozhko, head of the educational work department of the main education department of the regional executive committee. - The current republican project for counselors is young. It started successfully last year, and a participant from the Vitebsk region took second place in it.

Welcoming the contestants, the chairman of the jury, Svetlana Krasovskaya, Head of the Department of Methodological, Informational, Innovative Activities and International Relations of Zubrenok, emphasized how important the pedagogical skill of the educator is. Not only the safety of children on vacation depends on its level, but also the cohesion of the squad, its organization, and enthusiasm for interesting activities.

"A counselor is a bird profession," say those who spend the summer with their children, and even in the middle of the school year dream of escaping from the stuffy city," emphasizes Svetlana Krasovskaya. "At a time when others are resting, the educators of the health camp receive invaluable pedagogical experience that will help them prove themselves in any direction of the field of education.

The atmosphere of the holiday was unusually warm and sincere, as if summer had unexpectedly returned in the middle of autumn. The participants of the competition shared their pedagogical experience and shone with talents: they sang to the guitar, danced, played theatrical performances. Everyone was supported by their own support group of pupils and colleagues.

The best counselors of the region went on stage with a smile and admitted that they felt completely in their element.

"For more than five years, I have been working with specialized youth teams: artists, vocalists, athletes, as well as with troubled teenagers who are registered with the IDN," says Yulia Kot. "All these guys equally sunk into my soul, left a lot of pleasant memories and helped me believe in my strength.
