Belarusian dishes were prepared by Vitebsk chefs for the participants and guests of the Forum of Regions. You could taste draniki, sorcerers and young potatoes in a uniform on the shore of Vitba, where the presentation of national cuisines took place.
An autogastropoed arrived from ancient Polotsk to Vitebsk, which was made by employees of the meat shop of the Polotsk Bakery. The field kitchen includes a grill, a smokehouse, boilers, and a kettle. All dishes are cooked on firewood.
– According to our recipe, we cook buckwheat porridge with meat, rustic pancakes, like grandma's in the village – on whey, herbal tea with honey. Very tasty peasant soup with meat. Only we produce sausages of the Bavarian type from our own raw materials. After trying them, you feel better than in the Austrian Alps. It is more hospitable and peaceful in our native Belarus," said Marina Oleinik, an employee of the Polotsk KHP.
The neighbors of Polochan – Orsha "Yurts-service" – the highlight of the menu were potato dishes: pancakes with mushrooms, sour cream, sorcerers. It was difficult to pass by such an appetizing hospitable table, especially for guests from Russia, who praised the Belarusian cuisine.
