232 recruits swore allegiance to the Motherland in a military unit in Zaslonovo, Lepel district.
A solemn ceremony of taking the military oath was held in the 19th separate Guards Nikolaev-Budapest Red Banner, Order of Suvorov II degree mechanized brigade.
The removal of the combat brigade banner to the rolling sounds of the orchestra, excited relatives and friends, strict military in full dress uniform - in such an upbeat atmosphere, the recruits of the autumn conscription of the military unit took the oath of allegiance to the Motherland and the Belarusian people. "I solemnly swear to be loyal to my people, to respect the Constitution sacredly... courageously and selflessly defend the independence, territorial integrity and constitutional order of the Republic of Belarus," echoed around the parade ground.
– Everyone who took the oath of office today should know that he swore an oath of allegiance to the Motherland and now bears responsibility for the protection of the Republic of Belarus, its territorial integrity and sovereignty, – Colonel Dmitry Surovich, Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces - Head of the Armament Department of the North-Western Operational Command addressed the soldiers. – The 19th order-bearing separate brigade has a rich 80-year history and glorious guard traditions, which you are destined to continue with honor.
– The oath that our sons took today requires them to be faithful and responsible. These are not just words, but their path and duty to the Motherland. We wish them good luck in their combat training and good health. Let them remain faithful to the military oath and be worthy defenders of our beautiful Republic of Belarus," said Ekaterina Roshal from the Slutsk district, the mother of the soldier who took the oath today.
During the service, the guys will acquire new skills, get stronger physically and mentally, become real defenders of the country and guarantors of its peaceful future.
