The regional executive Committee held a meeting with a delegation from the Office of Foreign Affairs of the Heilongjiang Government

The draft roadmap for cooperation between the Vitebsk region and Heilongjiang Province for the period up to 2030 was discussed in the regional executive committee.

– Vitebsk Region has been cooperating with Heilongjiang Province for more than 25 years. So far, we are cooperating at the level of trade turnover and exports. If we take it as a whole, the Vitebsk region, after Minsk and the Minsk region, occupies the third position in terms of exports. Over the past five years, trade turnover with China has almost tripled," said Deputy Chairman of the regional Executive Committee Angelika Nikitina. – The largest Harbin pharmaceutical company is operating in Heilongjiang Province, and we are interested in exchanging competencies and technologies between our enterprises. Both Heilongjiang Province and Vitebsk Region are on the path of "one belt, one road" research. We are interested in logistical points of contact, in particular the Bremino–Orsha logistics center. In addition, there are areas of cooperation in the field of woodworking, the food industry – the Vitba confectionery factory, our milk and meat processing enterprises actively supply their products. Nevertheless, we believe that it is necessary to approach the mechanisms of cooperation.
