Updated information on the health of victims of the fire in the Belarus shopping center

One of the main questions that worries people after the emergency in the shopping center "Belarus" is the health of the victims. We called the management of medical institutions and here is the information we received.

Chief physician of the city clinical hospital of emergency medical care Alexey Gapanovich:

- Four victims were treated in our institution. Two of them were discharged in satisfactory condition after telemedicine consultation with the chief freelance toxicologist of the republic. Two people continue treatment in the cardiology and therapeutic departments. Their health is not in danger, they will be discharged soon after completing the course of therapy.

Deputy Chief Physician of the Vitebsk Regional Children's Clinical Center for Pediatrics Irina Yunes:

- The child, who after the incident was hospitalized in our institution for dynamic observation - given the child's age, was discharged on Monday. His health is not in danger.

Head of the toxicology department of the regional clinical hospital Alexander Dybal:

– There were 7 patients with toxic respiratory tract damage from combustion products being treated in the department. Six of them were discharged in satisfactory condition, the 7th will be discharged soon. Another patient is still in the hospital's intensive care unit on a ventilator. She has a burn of the respiratory tract, her condition remains serious.
