Ambassador: Dialogue of cultures is essential for friendship between Mongolia, Belarus

The dialogue of cultures is essential for the strengthening of friendship and trust between the peoples of Mongolia and Belarus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Belarus Batsukh Bayarsaikhan said at a ceremony to open the Mongolian photo exhibition "Mandala – Temple of Secret Tantra" at the ArtHaos Art Gallery in Minsk on 30 October, BelTA has learned.

"Welcome to the photo exhibition, which we are holding for the first time in the Republic of Belarus," the head of the diplomatic mission said. "Mongolia and Belarus are linked by long-standing, traditional and friendly relations, and our peoples enjoy brother-like friendship."


Ambassador Batsukh Bayarsaikhan highlighted the importance of the fact that relations and cooperation between the two countries grow stronger from year to year. "First of all, this is the merit of the leaders of our countries," the Mongolian ambassador said.

The diplomat continued: "I would like to emphasize the importance of the state visit of Belarusian President o Aleksandr Lukashenko to our country in June 2024, which became a historic milestone and opened a new chapter in the history of bilateral relations, brought our cooperation to a qualitatively new level and strengthened our friendship."


"Considering the dialogue of cultures, cultural exchange as one of the most important factors in strengthening friendship and trust between the peoples of Mongolia and Belarus, the embassy decided to organize this photo exhibition. We present the photos of the artifacts from the Choijin Lama Temple-Museum, which were created using various techniques of fine art of unique colors," Ambassador Batsukh Bayarsaikhan said, “These works are masterpieces of Mongolian art related to the country’s history and culture in the 17th-19th centuries. To date, the Mandala exhibition has been showcased more than 30 times in 13 countries."

The Mongolian ambassador thanked the Minsk city authorities for their comprehensive assistance in organizing today's event. "We hope that our event will help Belarusians to learn more about Mongolia. May the Mongolian-Belarusian friendship be strong and long-lasting," the head of the Mongolian diplomatic mission said.


The opening of the exhibition was attended by representatives of government bodies of Belarus, the Embassy of Mongolia in Belarus, heads of diplomatic and consular missions, representative offices of international organizations, and creative intelligentsia.
