Belarus' industrial output up by 7.1% in January-February 2024
In January-February 2024, Belarus' industrial output amounted to Br31.6 billion in current prices, up by 7.1% in comparable prices year-on-year, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
The mining industry expanded by 7.1% and the processing industry - by 6.7% year-on-year.
The industries producing electricity, gas, steam, hot water, and conditioned air reported a 10.5% increase in the output. The industries providing water supply, waste collection, waste processing, waste disposal, pollution cleanup shrank by 0.4%.
In February 2024 the industrial production index equaled 108.8% over February 2023, and 101.9% over January 2024.
