Belarus-Russia economic cooperation, friendly ties praised
Belarus and Russia implement joint economic projects and enjoy friendly ties, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Igor Sergeyenko said as he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Boris Gryzlov on 27 May, BelTA has learned.
“The Union State relations between our countries are developing on the basis of all the reached agreements and are confirmed by regular meetings between the presidents of our countries. Just the other day Russian President Vladimir Putin paid an official visit to Belarus. Negotiations were held practically in all areas, starting from security, which is of no small importance today, and ending with addressing specific economic issues, specific economic programs, working out joint actions, tactics in countering modern challenges and threats,” Igor Sergeyenko said.
There are no unresolved issues between the two countries, the chairman of the House of Representatives said. “All the emerging issues are solved. It probably cannot be otherwise between the nations who share joint economic projects, security issues, and also enjoy friendly and family ties,” Igor Sergeyenko said.
