The National Agency of Investment and Privatization of Belarus and the Tula Region Development and Support Corporation have signed a detailed plan on cooperation (a roadmap), which provides for sharing the best practices, information, and exchanging business visits, NAIP told BelTA.
The plan was signed in furtherance of the cooperation agreement that was signed in April 2024 and for the sake of mutually raising investments. “The problem of the mutual raising of investments between Belarus and Tula Oblast is certainly a harder than usual task. It is easy to understand the interest of a businessman in localizing his business on a promising market when the market is remote. When delivery distances are as short as the distance between Belarus and Tula, then localization is not so obvious. But that’s just by the by. In particular, it is clear that there are sectors and spheres for highly advisable investment projects of Tula Oblast private sector in Belarus and Belarusian private sector in Tula Oblast. And we need to work together in these areas,” NAIP Director Dmitry Krasovsky said.
Another agreement on cooperation was signed at premises of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization of Belarus – an agreement on cooperation between the Tula Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Mogilev branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The document was signed as a Tula delegation led by First Deputy Governor of Tula Oblast Mikhail Panteleev visited Belarus.
