Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kazakhstan Pavel Utyupin met with Nurlan Beknazarov, Chairman of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, Judiciary System and Law Enforcement Agencies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chairman of the Kazakh part of the commission on cooperation between the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus and the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Belarusian embassy in Kazakhstan told BelTA.
Pavel Utyupin and Nurlan Beknazarov discussed a broad range of matters concerning Belarus-Kazakhstan bilateral cooperation. With satisfaction they remarked upon positive dynamics of interaction in politics, economy, culture, and humanitarian affairs.
Apart from that, the need to maintain the high pace of interaction between the two parliaments on the bilateral track and the multilateral one was stressed.
The Belarusian ambassador informed Nurlan Beknazarov about the formation of the Belarusian part of the commission. It will be led by Chairman of the International Affairs and National Security Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Sergei Sivets.
Due to the formation of the Belarusian part and the Kazakh part of the joint commission on cooperation the parties agreed to organize meetings of Belarusian and Kazakh parliamentarians.
