Delegation of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs visits Minsk

Belarusian Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov met with a delegation of the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan in Minsk on 22 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The meeting took place at the OMON base in Minsk. Ivan Kubrakov welcomed the guests and gave them a tour of the unit’s facilities. He noted that the Belarusian law enforcement agencies are ready to share best practices in various areas with colleagues from Tajikistan.

The delegation examined special vehicles, weapons, uniforms, equipment of the OMON squad, and vehicles of various departments of the Minsk police. The guests showed a keen interest in the Belarusian unmanned aerial vehicles. The delegation also visited the exhibition of goods made by the enterprises affiliated with the Penitentiary Department. Then the guests toured the OMON museum and watched an exhibition performance by the OMON squad members.
