‘Move forward, do not stand still.’ Lukashenko lays out key demand for appointed officials

The head of state, in particular, made appointments to the Belarus President Administration and the General Staff of the Armed Forces, appointed new heads of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, Gosstandart, Vtorchermet, BISR, and also the Commissioner for Religious and Ethnic Affairs.

“These appointments are landmark ones, very important for the country, in all areas without exception,” the president said.

“You are experienced people. In your fields, you know what needs to be done. Act. So that you are visible and noticeable. Because your positions are very prominent,” Aleksandr Lukashenko instructed.

“The main thing is to act, to move forward, not to stand still. Such are the times. If we move, if we get where we want to be first, then there will be a result. If we are late, we will be trailing behind,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.
