PM: No ineffective government programs in Belarus
There are no ineffective government programs in Belarus, Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers on 12 June, BelTA has learned.
According to the final report of the Economy Ministry's interdepartmental commission, 62% of government programs were classified as highly effective and effective, said Roman Golovchenko. “The effectiveness of the remaining ones was assessed as average. There were no low-effective or ineffective programs,” he said.
The government is running 29 programs in the current five-year period; these programs will also be evaluated. In the past three years alone, almost Br400 billion has been allocated for these programs.
