In Vitebsk, activists of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union held an information picket

Activists of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union near the Marko City business center in Vitebsk held an information picket aimed at increasing the electoral activity of voters.

– Today the regional civil-patriotic marathon “#United” was launched, within the framework of which a number of events are taking place dedicated to the election campaign, youth knowledge in the field of legal information and politics. This is not only information picketing, but also open dialogues “Youth View of Elections”, the legal game “Power of Law”, and the civil-patriotic action “Rodnae-Narodnoe”. This picket is aimed at ensuring that our youth are savvy in legal aspects and can inform voters about the single voting day, so that on February 25 young people come and cast their vote for one candidate or another. We are sure that such events unite us all, not only young people, but also the older generation. I believe that it is important for everyone to come and vote if we want to build a happy future, see beautiful cities and towns, a peaceful and independent Belarus,” noted the second secretary of the regional committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, Zhanna Naritsyna.

At the information picket within the framework of the youth awareness-raising project “Pashtouka.BEL”, which started yesterday in Minsk, anyone could send an invitation postcard “Choose the future together!” to your addressee.

– Pickets are being held in all regions of the Vitebsk region and the republican project “Pashtouka.BEL” is being implemented, which is designed to remind citizens of their constitutional right to vote, civil responsibility and the single voting day – February 25. Here you can fill out an invitation card, write it to a friend, family or acquaintances and send it by mail for free. Next, the correspondence will be delivered to its destination by employees of the postal offices of RUE Belpochta. It can be sent not only to the Vitebsk region, but also, for example, to Minsk or Brest. On the same day, the post office sends an invitation to the recipients, added Zhanna Naritsyna.

The second secretary of the city committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, Ilya Maltsev, noted that today the same action is taking place in the Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk. Now the Youth Union is creating booklets for those who will vote for the first time. This also aims to maximize their interest in a single voting day.

Andrei Martynkevich, Polina Klimovich and Pavel Kamlev from Vitebsk school No. 27 told the townspeople about the election campaign, and Nikita Yablokov from Vitebsk was the first to fill out a postal card-flyer, sending an invitation to his friend.
