The Belarusian white goods manufacturer Atlant intends to strengthen cooperation with Kazakhstan, Atlant Director General Dmitry Sokolovsky told BelTA on the sidelines of the International Industrial Forum INNOPROM. Qazaqstan which is underway in Astana, Kazakhstan on 25-27 September.
“Depending on the region where INNOPROM is held, Belarus presents different expositions. For example, in Yekaterinburg we presented our industrial products such as injection molding machines, foundry and forging products. In Kazakhstan, we are featuring mainly household appliances,” Dmitry Sokolovsky said.
In his words, the withdrawal of Western manufacturers from the Russian market let Atlant increase supplies to Kazakhstan. “Atlant's products are in high demand in Kazakhstan. We have contracts with all major retail chains. In January-August 2023 we shipped 20,000 refrigerators and 3,000 washing machines to this country. We look to further strengthen our cooperation,” the director general said.
The history of Atlant dates back to 1959.The company is known as a manufacturer of refrigerators, freezers and washing machines. The company produces high-quality and reliable appliances that meet consumer demands. Household appliances from Minsk are known not only in Belarus and other post-Soviet countries, but also in many other countries.
The International Industrial Forum INNOPROM. Qazaqstan is taking place in Astana on 25-27 September. Belarus is among the participants of the exhibition. Belarus' exposition has occupied an area of 742m2 (210m2 inside the pavilion, 532m2 on the outdoor area). The enterprises featuring their products and technologies are those affiliated with the Belarusian Industry Ministry: MAZ, Belkommunmash, Gomselmash, Mogilevliftmash, BATE, BMZ, Minsk Electrotechnical Plant, Atlant, Horizont, and Integral.
Taking part in the event in Astana are also organizations and institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the State Committee on Science and Technology and the Education Ministry (the united stand features Optron instrument-making plant, Optics, Optoelectronics and Laser Technology, United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Minsk Research Institute of Radio Materials, Aviation Technologies and Complexes, Center for System Analysis and Strategic Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Belarusian State University, Belarusian State Technological University and Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics). Among the participants of the Belarusian exposition are also the enterprises of Bellegprom Concern.
Business delegations from 20 countries are expected to attend the international industrial forum.
