Belarusian marketing expects growing interest in business cooperation with Uzbekistan

Belarusian marketing expects growing interest in business cooperation with Uzbekistan. Evgenia Komarova, head of the department of international cooperation and information development of the Republican Unitary Enterprise “National Center for Marketing and Price Research”, said this during a round table at BELTA “Uzbekistan and Belarus - a time-tested partnership.”

The representative of the center recalled the successful Forum of Regions in Tashkent in February of this year. At the event, participants from both sides discussed interaction in such sectors as agriculture and the food industry, investment and industrial cooperation, cooperation in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, tourism, education, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and youth policy.

“In total, contracts, agreements and agreements within the framework of the forum were concluded in the amount of about $80 million. But this amount is far from final (many negotiations and business contacts also took place before and after the forum itself. - Note BELTA). It is worth hoping that all these agreements will find their practical implementation,” said Evgenia Komarova.

Work through Uzbekistan continues. Several exhibition events are planned for this year. The first of them will take place in literally a week and a half - a construction exhibition in Tashkent, where Belarusian enterprises will be represented.

One of the core activities of the center is the provision of marketing services and research. “Over the past year, we organized 6 marketing studies for Belarusian enterprises. Perhaps after the events held between the countries, we will see more requests and more interest in exploring new opportunities for bilateral cooperation,” said Evgenia Komarova.
