About politics, science, history and even space: Lukyanov and Azarenok took part in the “Test Conversation” at VSMU

At Vitebsk State Medical University, as part of the information and educational project “Test Conversation,” a dialogue platform was held with the participation of the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union Alexander Lukyanov, the first secretary of the regional committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union Vladimir Babichev, as well as the famous TV presenter, journalist and propagandist Grigory Azarenok. After a tour of the educational institution, opinion leaders talked with students about politics, science, history and even space flights.

“Meeting with the guys in this format, we want to remind you that government officials and leaders of public organizations are not indifferent to their audience, live by their interests and are always nearby,” noted Alexander Lukyanov. – We are ready to discuss with students any issues that concern them.

Those present were especially inspired by the performance of Grigory Azaryonok, who engaged the audience in dialogue and spoke to them in simple words about complex things. The TV presenter and journalist urged young people to perceive any information through the prism of reason, so as not to become victims of the  information war.

– Otto von Bismarck said that newspapers shoot first, and then guns. Because of incorrectly presented and understood information, relationships between people collapse and even wars break out, noted Grigory Azaryonok. – Hiding behind benevolence, dishonest people impose false values on society. And only a sane person can distinguish the truth from a beautiful illusion.

Those present also greeted VSMU student Elizaveta Ivanova, winner of the republican project “One Hundred Ideas for Belarus” and laureate of the project “One Hundred Ideas for the CIS,” with thunderous applause. The girl's research is related to neuroprogramming. A young scientist is developing special glasses and gloves that allow blind and visually impaired people to better perceive the world around them and socialize. By the decision of the regional committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, Elizaveta Ivanova was nominated as a delegate to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. Photo by Dmitry OSIPOV.
