Anniversary of trade union movement in Belarus to be celebrated with special postmark
The Communications and Informatization Ministry of Belarus will release a commemorative special postmark,which will be used on 31 January 2025 for a special dedication ceremony to mark the 120th anniversary of the trade union movement in Belarus, the Belarusian national mail service Belpochta told BelTA.
The dedication ceremony will take place at the Main Post Office in Minsk.
The project was prepared in cooperation with the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus. The year 2024 marks the 120th anniversary of the trade union movement in Belarus. Over its more than century-long history, trade unions have become a social reality and have become an essential element in the life of the society. Today, the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus is a national trade union center, a national voluntary independent association of trade unions, their associations and associated members. One of the main activities is the protection of constitutional and labor rights of trade union members.
