On November 11, Ilya Ikan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on Economics, Budget and Finance, Chairman of the Belnefetihim Concern, hosted a reception of citizens in Polotsk.
Ilya Ikan discussed issues of housing and communal services, landscaping of a horticultural association, and infrastructure development in rural areas during the reception.
So the villagers of Voronichi appealed to the senator with a complaint about trade, the lack of a post office and a club in the village. They complained about the noisy transport links and the inconvenient road.
During the reception, explanations were given on a number of issues by the first deputy of the Polotsk district executive committee, Alexander Kolodynsky, and representatives of responsible services. Ilya Icahn took control of all the issues. Instructions have been given to the heads of services for each of them.
"The receptions of citizens help to solve problems, clarify many issues, and develop approaches aimed at solving emerging problems. A number of appeals become the basis for discussions in the preparation of draft laws," Ilya Ikan noted.
