In December, tourist information centers are planned to open in Vitebsk and Beshenkovichi district
Tourist information centers (TIC) are planned to open in Vitebsk and Beshenkovichi district in December. This was announced by Denis Fateev, head of the Sports and tourism department of the regional executive committee.
- We consider tourism as one of the growth points for the development of the economy of the Vitebsk region and the country as a whole. According to the results of January – August, the export of travel services amounted to 17.2 million dollars. We are developing all 13 types of tourism, among the most priority ones are agroecotourism, historical and cultural, medical and wellness, event and environmental," Denis Fateev noted.
– Vitebsk region is a region with a rich cultural heritage, significant creative and natural potential. The creation of a TIC is an important step in the development of tourism. Such centers will become an integral assistant for popularizing the potential of the Vitebsk region.
In 2025, TIC will appear in Novopolotsk, Dubrovensky and Lioznensky districts.
