Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia arrived in Minsk on 4 June, the official portal of the Belarusian Orthodox Church told BelTA.
During his visit to Belarus, Patriarch Kirill will be accompanied by: Metropolitan Gregory of Voskresensk, Chancellor of the Moscow Patriarchate; Bishop Alexy of Ramenskoye, Personal Secretary of Patriarch Kiril; Archpriest Andrei Bondarenko, head of the Patriarchal Protocol Service; Abbess Kseniya (Chernega), head of the Legal Department of the Moscow Patriarchate, and other church officials.
At the airport, Patriarch Kirill was welcomed by Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Veniamin, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, along with several bishops of the Belarusian Orthodox Church and church officials, Russian Ambassador to Belarus Boris Gryzlov, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Natalya Petkevich, and Belarusian Commissioner for Religions and Nationalities Aleksandr Rumak.
During his visit, Patriarch Kirill will lead religious services in the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Minsk on 4 June at 18:00 and in the Elevation of the Holy Cross Cathedral of Savior-St. Euphrosyne Convent in Polotsk on 5 June at 10:00.
