Village workers from the Vitebsk region went to a thematic forum in Minsk
About fifty representatives from each region went to Minsk today for the III Republican Forum of rural workers. A bus with women who are the pride of the agro-industrial complex of the northern region has started from Vitebsk, BelTA correspondent reports.
About a dozen agricultural workers from different districts left the regional center, but on the way the bus will fill up to capacity. All participants of the forum are excited and at the same time very interested in what awaits them in the capital, because some of them will visit Minsk for the first time. For example, Anna Bogdanova from the Vitebsk region, who gave 19 years to agriculture. She works as an egg receiver at JSC Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm. "I have not been able to visit our capital in any way, and everything will be new to me. I would like to see a lot, talk with women from other districts and regions, and hear the answers of representatives of the republican government to the questions that will be asked at the forum. I will absorb everything like a sponge in order to remember and preserve these impressions for a long time. For me, this is both an opportunity to learn something new and a pleasant variety in everyday work," said one of the best agricultural workers in the Vitebsk region.
It is not easy to work in the countryside, Anna Bogdanova admitted, but it is an important and necessary work. "I have lived in the city all my life, and just six months ago my family moved into our own house in the village of Kurino. My husband works at a poultry farm, my daughter, we have a whole dynasty already," she shared.
Alla Klimovich, a sausage shaper from a broiler poultry farm, also has close and distant relatives working in agriculture - a daughter, a son-in-law and his sister and mother, and many others. "I have been working at the agro-industrial complex for 34 years. My sister "wooed" me into this field, and I have been very grateful to her all my life. She also worked in the same position as me, and has already retired with 40 years of experience. It is not easy to work in the countryside, but if I were offered to rewind my life and decide what I would do, I would still choose agriculture, I feel that this is my vocation," shared a resident of the Vitebsk region.
Upon learning that she was chosen as a delegate from the enterprise to the forum of village workers, Alla Klimovich was delighted. "If they decided to send me there, it means that the management noticed my work, and it's nice. In general, we have a very good team, and I always go to work with great pleasure," she said, adding that bright impressions and a lot of positive emotions await from the upcoming event.
Natalia Gneusheva, Deputy chairman of the Vitebsk regional organization Belarusian Union of Women, said that the participants of the forum will have a busy program on both days, and they definitely will not be bored. "All of them are the pride not only of their enterprises, but also of the entire Vitebsk region. Agriculture, the social sphere, and many other industries are supported by a woman. Such events are a great opportunity to thank them for their hard work and show how important working professions are," she stressed.
